4/5G House Evaluations

4/5G House Evaluations will be on Saturday, March 19 at the Central Middle School dome. Evaluation times are assigned based on the player's last name. Evaluation times are as follows:

  • A-K 4:30-6:15PM
  • L-Z 6:45PM-8:30PM

Please drop your player off on time and return to the Central Middle School dome parking lot 15 minutes prior to their scheduled end time, in case we run ahead of schedule.

All players in the 4th/5th grade house league must attend evaluations on March 19. Any player who tries out for 10U or 11U travel and does not make a team will automatically move to the 4/5G house league. Those players must also attend 4/5G House Evaluations on March 19.

The purpose of 4/5G house evaluations is to have parity among teams in the house league. All players who register by the deadline will be placed on a team, regardless of experience or ability.

Please contact the League Commissioner if you have any questions.

2022 Season Overview

The 4th/5th Grade League is for children in 4th or 5th Grade during the 2021/2022 academic school year.

2022 registration fee is $215. Each player will also purchase a $20 raffle ticket as part of registration.

Teams at this age group are formed based on an evaluation process to create balanced teams selected by coaches based on their results.

Each player will be evaluated on the following:

  • Hitting (batting cage)
  • Throwing/Pitching/Catching
  • Fielding (infield and outfield)

Evaluations will be conducted by 4th/5th grade coaches who have registered for the upcoming season. After the evaluation process has been completed, head coaches will be assigned and teams formed based on the player ratings during evaluations. Best efforts will be made for all teams within the 4th/5th grade league to be balanced.

No "play with" or "coach" requests will be allowed.
