Open Position

3rd Grade League Commissioner

3G House Evaluations

We ask that all 3rd Grade House League players go through house league evaluations. The goal of the house evaluations is to have all kids evaluated on the same baseball skills, by the same evaluators. Following the evaluations, teams will be formed with the intent to have balanced abilities across all teams. All players will be placed on a team. Because our goal is to have balanced teams, we cannot commit to accommodating play with requests.

3rd Grade House League Evaluations are Saturday, March 23th at the Wayzata Central Middle School Dome. The address is 305 Vicksburg Lane N, Plymouth, MN 55447. Each player will be assigned a time slot alphabetically, based on each player's last name as follows:

Last Names beginning with:  A – K

Evaluation Time:  4 pm – 5:30 pm

Last Names beginning with: L – Z

Evaluation Time:  6 pm – 7:30 pm

Please have your child arrive at the start time to allow them time to get checked in so we can stay on schedule.

Players should check in at the dome and will receive a colored penny to be worn throughout the evaluation. Please make sure your player is wearing athletic clothes (baseball pants are preferred) and tennis shoes. No cleats. They will need to bring their own glove and they can use their own bat and helmet if they have one. Bats and helmets are available for use for players who do not have their own.

Parents are not allowed to stay and observe.

Please plan to be back at Central Middle School Dome to pick up your player approximately 15 minutes before the scheduled end time in case they finish early.

2024 Season Overview

The 3rd Grade League is for children in 3rd Grade during the 2023/2024 academic school year. NO "PLAYING UP" IS ALLOWED.

2024 registration fee is $260.

Teams at this age group are formed based on an evaluation process to create balanced teams selected by coaches based on their results.

Each player will be evaluated on the following:

  • Hitting (batting cage)
