2021 Tryout Information

2021 tryout dates and location for the senior level travel will take place on Sunday April 11th at the CMS Dome from 2-5p. After the registration window closes on the 6th, there will be further instructions from Legion Head Coach Marshall Dalziel.

Below are some details:

  • Due to the high school schedules, tryouts must be held on Sundays.
  • All players will tryout from 2p-5p, we will break groups down by grade level and rotate stations utilizing both fields and the cage.
  • The tryout will focus on evaluating all baseball skills by rotating through fielding, hitting, and pitching stations. Game situations may also be utilized to further the evaluation process.
  • A call back tryout (Sunday April 25th) may be utilized if it is necessary for further player evaluation or weather cancels the original date.
  •  In the past tryouts have been held at Minnetonka High School. Due to the success that a turf tryout provides, we may utilize Minnetonka High School again if weather becomes an issue for the spring of 2021.
