As you already know, the Plymouth Wayzata Youth Baseball Association offers youth baseball opportunities to many kids. You may not realize that we are a 501(C)(3) charity. Not all baseball associations are like ours. Many years ago, the PWYBA organizers decided that, as a charitable organization, we could give back the maximum to our baseball programs and fields. PWYBA Board Members and our many volunteers work countless hours for no compensation to help keep costs low.  

As we approach the corporate fundraising season, we would like to make you aware that you may be able to donate to the PWYBA easily through your work. If your employer has a United Way campaign and you would like to earmark some or all of your contributions to the PWYBA, you may be able to do so. We currently have many field improvements that we would like to make and it is very difficult to do this without extra support.  

If you work for a company/organization that holds a United Way or other workplace giving campaign, the PWYBA will almost certainly not be listed among charities to choose from, but you can generally write us in.
