Senior Travel

Registration

Registration for Senior Travel is currently open to tryout for the Senior Travel teams (Legion, Legion II, and Junior Legion).

2019 Tryout Information

2019 tryout dates and location for the senior level travel will take place on Sunday April 28th at Parkers Lake, with a make-up/further evaluation date scheduled for Sunday May 4th at Parkers Lake.  After the registration window closes there will be further instructions from Senior Travel Director Maris Blanchard.

Below are some details:

  • Due to the high school schedules, tryouts must be held on Sundays.
  • The tryouts are split into 2 groups (sophomores in the morning 10:00-12:00, juniors and older in the afternoon 1:00-3:00). The tryout will focus on evaluating all baseball skills by rotating through fielding, hitting, and pitching stations. Game situations may also be utilized to further the evaluation process.
  • A call back tryout (Sunday May 4th) may be be utilized if it is necessary for further player evaluation or weather cancels the original date.
  • 2018 tryouts were held at Minnetonka High School. Due to the success that a turf tryout provides, we may utilize Minnetonka High School again if weather becomes an issue for the spring of 2019.
